Project Summary

The Laplace project is a brokerage platform that provides investment opportunities across various assets, including stocks, mutual funds, currencies, indexes, and commodities. The platform is compatible with browsers such as Google Chrome, Safari, Opera, and Mozilla Firefox, aiming to deliver an intuitive and responsive user interface for both desktop and mobile devices. The focus is on creating a high-quality user experience through the human-centered design process, adhering to established UX and UI design principles.

Information Architecture

The journey begins with an easy onboarding process, facilitating swift login or signup for users. Upon arrival, users are directed to the dynamic "Overview" page, serving as the central hub for trading activities. Here, they can monitor market trends, review transactions, and effortlessly manage their portfolio and watchlist.

The "Create New" buttons allow for seamless initiation of actions like deposits, withdrawals, or trades. Additionally, the profile menu grants convenient access to account and payment settings for efficient management.

The "More" section provides advanced functionalities such as report generation and tax management, while notifications and a help center ensure continuous user support. Overall, the platform aims to deliver a streamlined and intuitive experience, empowering users to make informed decisions and reach their financial goals efficiently.

Wireframe

The wireframe initiates the creative aspect of interface design, serving as the foundational blueprints bridging idea generation and prototyping. The main difference compared to the final prototype is the emphasis on the visual aspect of design, while the structure and pages of the application remain consistent with the final version.

Design System

My design system establishes guidelines for color palettes, icon styles, font usage, button design, grid layouts, and reusable UI components. By ensuring visual harmony and usability standards, design systems streamline the design process, facilitate collaboration, and maintain brand consistency, resulting in enhanced user satisfaction and efficiency in product development.
